Sala Terrana was the name of a luxurious garden pavilion found in the Wallenstein Palace in Prague, the golden city of Europe. The people who gathered there were said to have enjoyed idly passing the time in conversation while looking out over the magnificent garden and enjoying the sound of water from the fountains. The Sky Spa at Hotel Monterey Sendai aims to recreate this scene for you on the top floor of the hotel.

We invite you to soak in the hot spring water, originating from pools deep below the city, while gazing out over the rich scenery of Sendai, nicknamed the City of Trees, for the ultimate bathing experience. Feel the rays of the sun on you as they pour through the windows by day, or enjoy the glistening moon reflecting off the tiled floor by night. Notice Regarding the Use of the Natural Hot Spring Spa Facilities Starting from October 1, 2024
At Hotel Monterey Sendai,we are pleased to announce that starting from October 1, 2024 (Tuesday), the natural hot spring spa facilities will be available to all guests staying with us.

• Regular Hours: 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Last admission at 10:00 PM) Morning Bath: 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Last admission at 8:30 AM)
• Lounge Hours: 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• We are closed on: [2024] August 1, September 2, September 3, October 7, November 5, December 2 [2025] January 6, February 3, March 3
• Bath towels and face towels are provided.
• You may enter wearing pajamas and slippers.

*Infants who are not potty trained may not use the facilities.
*Under Sendai City regulations, only children up to 6 years old can join a guardian in baths of the opposite gender.
*Those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
*While admission is not permitted for those with tattoos or body paint, you may enter if they can be hidden using up to two tattoo stickers (118x172mm)
*Admission is not permitted for those who are heavily intoxicated.
*Those who deliberately behave rudely will be asked to leave immediately.
