【IMPORTANT】Introduction of Accommodation Tax in Okinawa Prefecture

We would like to inform you that Okinawa Prefecture will introduce an Accommodation Tax
for stays from February 1, 2027.

■2% of room rate / person / night (excluding tax), max 2,000 JPY
※The accommodation tax is not currently reflected in the room rates displayed on reservation websites.
※Payment methods may vary depending on the booking channel used.
※The taxable accommodation charge includes the room rate and related service charges.
※Meal charges, consumption tax, and other taxes are excluded from the taxable amount.
※If tax laws or regulations are revised after your reservation is made,
　the final amount charged may be adjusted according to the regulations in effect on the date of your stay.
※The accommodation tax will apply to all stays on or after February 1, 2027, regardless of the reservation date.
