By car

  • Proceed straight after coming off the city highway at Tenjin Kita, then turn right, just after passing Daiei, at Tenjin Bashiguchi intersection. The hotel is the cream colored building about 200m further down the street, on the left hand side. Total transportation time is about 10 minutes.

    Dazaifu Tenman-gū Shrine

    Tenman-gu is a shrine dedicated to great scholars and built on the grave of Michizane Sugawara, deified as the god of literature and calligraphy. Strolling around the power spots of the shrine grounds can help one to refresh and refocus.
