    Minato Mirai

    A great area to stroll around, Minato Mirai offers plenty of shopping and entertainment options. For breath-taking views, ride Japan's fastest elevator up to the 69th floor of the Landmark Tower or take a ride on the giant Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris Wheel in the Yokohama Cosmo World amusement park. This is the premier sightseeing spot in the bay area, and is perfect for both families or couples. Don't miss the glittering city-scape at night!

    Yamashita Park

    Located right in front of the hotel, this was the first coastal park built in Japan. Strolling through the grounds you will come across many types of flowers as well as several monuments related to Japanese children's songs. The Hikawa Maru ocean liner, a designated important cultural asset, is also found here; these days permanently docked as a museum ship. If you fancy getting some fresh morning air during your stay, then we recommend taking a stroll around Yamashita Park, and exploring all she has to offer.

    Yokohama Chinatown

    Yokohama Chinatown is the largest in Japan, and has over 600 restaurants lining its streets. Here you can also enjoy the art of illusion at the Trick Art Museum or enjoy family fun for the little ones at the Yokohama Omoshiro Aquarium. In addition to all the restaurants, there are also plenty of shops selling souvenirs where you can pick up something unique to Chinatown.

    Kamakura

    Kamakura is home to many historical sites, such as the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the Great Buddha, and Meigetsuin Temple, well known for its hydrangeas if you have a chance to visit in June.  We also recommend taking a stroll down Komachi-dori Street, where you can find a plethora of restaurants, boutiques, cafes selling traditional sweets, and stores selling crafts and souvenirs unique to this ancient city.

    Sankei-en Garden

    Sankei-en is a traditional Japanese garden set in vast grounds, the equivalent in area to four Tokyo Domes. Meanwhile, ten of the historic buildings in the park are designated as important cultural assets. It is renowned among both locals and foreigners as a spot for enjoying Japanese culture, and for viewing plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, and autumn leaves. Strolling leisurely through the gardens, one can enjoy the serene atmosphere and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
