    Sapporo TV Tower

Sapporo TV Tower stands exactly in the center of Sapporo, marking where the city's northern and southern districts are divided. We recommend not only viewing the tower when lit up at night, but also riding up to the observation deck, which at 90 meters above ground offers wonderful views of Odori Park and the city itself.

    Sapporo Clock Tower

Built in 1878 (during the Meiji era), the Clock Tower originally served as a drill hall for the Sapporo Agricultural College. A symbol of the city, the building is the oldest in Sapporo, while the clock is Japan's oldest pendulum clock. It now houses a small museum, allowing visitors to learn about the Clock Tower and the Sapporo Agricultural School. The sound of the bells chiming on the hour will be sure to stir feelings of nostalgia.

    Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill

The hill offers visitors a chance to enjoy viewing the city of Sapporo, set against the idyllic Hokkaido backdrop of sheep grazing in the surrounding pastures. Here can also be found the famous statue of Dr. William Clark, who was a pioneer for developing the frontier spirit in Hokkaido, and coined the phrase "Boys, be ambitious!", which is also the motto for Hokkaido University. Be sure to write down your 'vow of ambition' and post it on the statue of Dr. Clark!
