  • From Itami Airport
    ・Take the direct bus to OCAT (35 mins). We are just 1 minute walk away via the connecting passage.
  • From Kansai International Airport
    ・Take No.11 direct bus to OCAT (48 mins). We are just 1 minute walk away via the connecting passage. The bus comes every 30minutes from 6:30am to 22:25pm.
    ・Take the Rapid to Nankai Namba Station (34 mins), from where it is a 7 minute walk to the hotel.
    ・Take the Airport Express to JR Namba Station (58 minutes). We are just 1 minute walk away.

By car

  • Come off the Hanshin Expressway Route 15 Sakai Line at Minato-machi Exit (OCAT) and turn left. Go straight towards Yotsubashi-suji and then head north on Yotsubashisuji, before turning left onto Senjitsumae Street. After about 50 meters you will see the hotel on the left hand side. The hotel car park entrance is by the front side of the building.
  • Come off the Hanshin Expressway Route 15 Sakai Line at Minato-machi Exit (Nanba Hatch) and after crossing Senjitsumae Street, turn left at the 2nd set of traffic lights (Minato-machi Minami Dero Nishi). Proceed straight towards Yotsubashi-suji and then head north on Yotsubashisuji, before turning left onto Senjitsumae Street. After about 50 meters you will see the hotel on the left hand side. The hotel car park entrance is by the front side of the building.

    Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun

    Mozu Kofungun is spread across an area of 2 km radius in Sakai City, Osaka. During the Kofun period(3-6 centuries), more than 100 kofun were built in this area and 44 of them still remain today. The 44 include giant keyhole kofun, such as Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun, one of the largest burial mounds in the world. [About 30 minutes by train from Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka]

    Osaka Castle

    Osaka Castle is the symbol of the city, and in addition to the main castle tower, the grounds also contain the Sakura Gate (a designated Important Cultural Property), and JO-TERRACE where visitors can break for lunch or stroll around the greenery whilst sipping on a cup of Japanese tea.     Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan / Tempozan Harbor Village

    Osaka Aquarium is one of the world's largest aquariums, featuring 30,000 creatures comprising 620 species, including giant whale sharks. There are over 14 large tanks, each recreating a specific region of the Pacific Rim, taking visitors on a virtual tour of the Pacific Ocean. A popular recent addition is the new interactive zone, that allows visitors to interact more closely with marine animals, including touching seals, rays and sharks.     Dotonbori / Shinsaibashi

    The Minami area of Osaka, which includes Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, is Osaka's most famous entertainment district, comprising of shopping, restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife scene. There are many huge neon billboards on Dotonbori Street, making it a good spot to take some memorable photos!     Shinsekai ("New World") / Tsutenkaku Tower

    Tsutenkaku Tower is a symbol of Osaka that stands at the heart of the retro "New World" area, a colorful entertainment district that was built in the early 20th century.
