    Sapporo TV Tower

Sapporo TV Tower stands exactly in the center of Sapporo, marking where the city's northern and southern districts are divided. Sapporo Clock Tower

Built in 1878 (during the Meiji era), the Clock Tower originally served as a drill hall for the Sapporo Agricultural College. A symbol of the city, the building is the oldest in Sapporo, while the clock is Japan's oldest pendulum clock. It now houses a small museum, allowing visitors to learn about the Clock Tower and the Sapporo Agricultural School. The sound of the bells chiming on the hour will be sure to stir feelings of nostalgia.
